 Camel is generally called "ship of desert" and exploring the endless deserts in camels is a part of explorations in human history. The toughness and enjoyment both go hand to hand while we move on a desert safari. But the camel safaris in Himalayan deserts are very different. These are not challenging because the distances are short but develop a very different kind of excitement because this safari is happening at above 3500 meters altitude where the sand dunes are simply under the tough mountains which look life hard walls just in front of your camel. The another sensation is to ride double hump camels in Nubra valley and retracing the ancient trade route where centuries back the traders used to move from India to China, Tibet and Yarkand. We have discovered a nice camel safari route in Rajasthan too which is very colorful and through a real culture of Maharajas.
