This short journey to India basically aimed to explore Tigers and other prominent wildlife at Bandhavgarh and Kanha, two very popular national parks of India. Bandhavgarh is one of the few remaining safe places for the pride of Indian Wildlife - the Royal Bengal Tiger. This is a new National Park with a very long history. Set among the Vindhya hills of Madhya Pradesh with an area of 168sq miles (437sq Kms) it contains a wide variety of habitats and a high density of game, including a large number of Tigers. This is also the White tiger country. These have been found in the old state of Rewa for many years. The last known was captured by Maharaja Martand Singh in 1951
Kanha is surrounded by lush sal and bamboo forests, grassy meadows and ravines of Kanha provided inspiration to Rudyard Kipling for his famous novel "Jungle Book". The Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh came into being in 1955 and forms the core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, created in 1974 under Project Tiger.
With the wildlife, we are including the experience of India in it by showing you Mumbai, Agra and Delhi including a night journey by one express train from Bandhavgarh to Agra. This journey is completely exploratory in nature and you enjoy staying with Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge and Kanha Jungle Loges in these two places.

It was designed by George Wikket and built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to India in 1911. Through this magnificent monument, numerous Viceroys and Governors were welcomed to India as they disembarked from their steamers, hence the name. Another wonderful creature is Flora Fountain, which was built in 1869, in honor of Sir Henry Bartle and Edward Frere. It is situated in the heart of the Mumbai city at a junction of five streets. The fountain has a figure of "Flora", the Roman Goddess of Flowers at the top. A visit to Chowpatty Beach & Juhu Beach disclose the real life of Mumbai in front of you. This is an excellent arrangement and is very exciting.

Bandhavgarh is set amongst the Vindhya Hills of Madhya Pradesh and consists of a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq. km. Topography varies between steep ridges, undulating forest and open meadows, over half of the park is tree-covered. The ruin of the ancient fort from which this park derives its name provides a stunning backdrop. We reach to our destination and check in to Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge, a beautiful resort here.
Day 7: Bandhavgarh: The Forest Department has devised an ingenuous system of tracking the tiger at this Park. Every day, early in the morning, elephants and their drivers are sent out into the jungle, in search of the Tiger. Once it has been sighted, a radio message is flashed to the Forest Ranger, who in turn informs the visitors in their jeeps, who are then taken on elephant-back, into the bush, to see the elusive Tiger. The resort organizes this trip to jungles.
