Mount Deo Tibba (6001 meters) is a towering peak near Manali which is visible from the road at several spots while reaching Manali from Kullu on national highway. During the winters, it shines like a gem in clear nights from distance. The trek starts just near Manali and the base camp is easily approachable. The peak looks close, but it is quite technical to climb. The trek goes through lush green forests of Pine, Fir, Spruce, Oak and Cedar and we witness meadows laden with wild flowers while crossing brilliant sparkling streams. This trek also provides the opportunity to catch glimpses of magnificent old Himalayan villages, their people and their way of life especially at base village Jagat Sukh which is the second biggest village of the valley and erstwhile capital of Kullu kingdom. The mighty peaks like Indrasan (6220 m) and Inder Kila (6000 m) are visible during the trek.

Before you book any climbing expedition
Majority of our climbing expeditions go from 6000 to 8000 meters height. These expeditions are generally very challenging and strenuous. Just due to its height alone there are certain risks involved. It is again a fact that during last almost two decades we have remarkably gained experience in minimizing the risk factors, making innovations in food and other facilities but majority of our experiences restrict till base camp. Most of our climbing clients till date remained seasoned climbers but still we appeal to the participants to understand risk of mountains, their individual experience of climbing and physical fitness. The participants must be able to move independently and confidently on snow, ice and rock. They are expected to render active support in the mountain, show best team work and tolerance during the expedition. It is important that everyone is able to recognize their limits on the mountain and is prepared to retreat if necessary. The success of the expedition is the responsibility of the participants. We don’t send mountain summit leader for all peaks so the foreign expedition leader is responsible for the group as a whole after base camp. We expect everyone must be willing to accept the orders and decisions of the expedition leader taken in the interest of the group. Improvisations may be done wherever found necessary and alterations to the programme may also occur. Adventure India as a ground handling company refuses any liability for accidents, damages or loss of equipment.
